Activities: This park is a refuge for hundreds of tropical birds covering a wide va

riety of migratory species. During the boat ride we will have an opportunity

to see monkeys, iguanas, and even crocodiles in their natural environment as we pass through the complex eco-system of the mangroves. This is one of the most incredible area to observe wildlife. Palo Verde is the larges

t mangrove in all Central America.

On the way back we will stop at the famous traditional village of Guaitil where we will learn Chorotega Indians handcraft techniques.
